Energy Fuels: Radiant Energy, Radiant Courses?

Energy Fuels Inc. is a leading US company in the extraction, processing, and marketing of uranium, rare earths, and other critical minerals. The company is headquartered in Lakewood, Colorado. With over 45 years of experience in the uranium sector, Energy Fuels is now the largest uranium supplier in the US and a key partner in supplying American nuclear power plants.

The company covers several strategic business areas:

- Uranium & Nuclear Energy: Operation of the White Mesa Mill, the only conventional uranium mill in the US, as well as high-grade uranium projects such as the Pinyon Plain Mine. Energy Fuels thus ensures the first step in the emission-free nuclear fuel cycle.

Rare Earth Elements: Monazite is processed and rare earth oxides, including neodymium-praseodymium (NdPr), dysprosium, and terbium, are produced. These are essential for high technologies such as permanent magnets in wind turbines and electric motors.

- Critical minerals: Involvement in international projects such as the Toliara project in Madagascar with significant deposits of zirconium and titanium, and expansion of the product range to include minerals for high-tech and industrial applications.

Diversification and future markets: Expansion of the portfolio to include new areas of application such as medical isotopes and positioning in the field of sustainable raw material supply for CO₂-neutral energy solutions.

With this combination of uranium production, rare earth processing, and strategic development of critical minerals, Energy Fuels plays a key role in the global energy and raw materials transition. In our opinion, Energy Fuels shares are attractive for two main reasons:

- The US's independence from China in the rare earths sector

- Electricity production needs to be significantly expanded due to the proliferation of data centers and in order to keep pace with China in the field of AI (uranium/nuclear energy).

With Energy Fuels, you are adding a unique player to your portfolio that could help solve at least some of these two problems. Energy Fuels is not only an absolute specialist in the field of uranium/nuclear energy, but will also increasingly focus on rare earths. The uranium business will certainly remain the dominant part of the business for the next few years. In the future, however, the topic of rare earths will become increasingly important, and the company will also focus on this area. You have probably heard that China has used its greatest leverage (rare earths) in response to Trump's tariffs. Donald Trump could therefore have a strong incentive to at least partially take this leverage away from the Chinese. In the near future, for example, he could enact industry-friendly legislation that could further boost Energy Fuels.

From a technical perspective, the stock looks particularly lucrative. Nevertheless, it should be noted that we may currently be in the final stages of wave “i” of “iii.” Specifically, this means that once “i” is complete, a corrective ‘ii’ can be expected. In the worst case, this “ii” could fall well below USD 10 again. For this reason, it may be advisable to split your purchases so that you immediately take the first step and, in the event of the aforementioned correction, use the rest for this position. In the long term, we expect the stock to rise well above USD 20.
